Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait’s indices commenced Sunday’s trading session on a mixed note, with the price index slipping 0.11% or 9.09 points to 7,035.44 points.
The Kuwait-15 index edged down 0.02%, while the weighted index was marginally up by 0.04%.
By 09:54am Kuwait time, four sectors were down, led by financial services with 0.66%, following pressure from Amwal International Investment, which dropped 6.9%.
On the other hand, the banking sector led risers, adding 0.74% as Ithmaar Holding gained 4%.
Turnover reached KWD 6.15 million as 79.23 million shares changed hands through 1,610 transactions.
Kuwait Real Estate, down 5.33%, was the most active in terms of traded value and volume after 13.4 million shares were exchanged at KWD 944,160.
